North East Material Installations was established in 2009 by Shawn Burgess, CEO and Owner. Shawn has over 30 years in the Material Installation Business, starting out in the field as his father's apprentice when he was 16. Now Shawn leads 10 full time employees daily and is proud of the business he has grown from the bottom up. 

North East Material Installation's provides scholarships, donations, and other support in loving memory of Tylar Burgess who passed away in 2020. Tylar is the son of Owner Shawn Burgess and wife Melissa Burgess. Tylar is a pillar of the NEMI company and continues to make a positive impact throughout with many close friends and family continuing to work within the company. When working with our team you will be sure to notice his signature worn on shirts as a reminder to all his lasting impact within the Installation Industry.
